At DriverPlan we cover your driving licence and ability to travel, not your vehicle. Our policies are therefore available to people who ride bikes as well as drive cars or people who just ride bikes.
Being a rider myself I know how easy it can be to be "caught in the moment" and next thing you know, you are facing a driving prosecution which will affect your total ability to be mobile, not just be unable to ride your bike. This can have a very serious effect on your work or even your business which you hadn't envisaged!
At DriverPlan we do not condone dangerous or stupid riding and for serious offences such as dangerous riding you would not be covered.
As we make comprehensive cover available to riders as well as car drivers we would also make it clear that you are not covered under the accident section of our DriverGuard policies if this was as a result of injury sustained as a rider or a pillion rider on a motorcycle. Sorry the insurers just wouldn't cover that particular risk.
